Stephen Bolduc, Owner
Steve began what was to become Keystone Builders in 1977 after receiving a BS Degree from Utica College of Syracuse University, majoring in Construction Technology and a four year apprenticeship with a local construction firm. In the following thirty plus years, there has hardly been a type of project that he hasn’t come across at least once. It is Steve’s expertise and vision that allow your dreams to become reality. Steve is a former Town of Bethlehem Business Person of the Year. He has single-handedly transformed the look of several of Delmar’s Four Corners signature buildings -- both 384 and 388 Kenwood Avenue – as well as the beloved “Bootery” building at 376 Delaware that now houses two businesses. This led to his reception of the 1997 “Community Appearance Honor Roll” award. In August of 2008, Steve was asked to participate on the Town of Bethlehem Delaware Avenue Hamlet Enhancement Study, Study Advisory Committee, which is in progress.
Steve’s ability to capture your ideas, vision and dreams for the future and transform them into the bricks and mortar of your new home is the key reason for Keystone’s continued success. Call him directly to start the process.
Bob Bolduc, Excavation
Steve’s son, Bob, has been involved in Keystone’s projects for more than twenty years, and he now oversees the excavation and foundation portions of our construction. With his experience, he is able to match the right equipment to your specific needs. No need to “sub out” the foundation of your project and then delay starting because you are waiting for an excavator to fit you in. Contact Bob when you want to discuss anything from the septic system installation to the poured basement walls. No one knows more about concrete, and with his years of experience as a lead carpenter, Bob will get your project off to the right start.
Dan Bolduc, Lead Carpenter
Dan, also Steve’s son, has been involved with Keystone for more than 15 years and is an integral part of the operations. He is well rounded and able to do whatever is needed during the project, from framing to finish trim. Dan is also one of Keystone’s most talented equipment operators, making him, first to last, an essential element in the implementation of our custom homes, additions and restorations.
Peggy Bolduc, Accounting, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Peggy has been with Keystone for over 10 years and is Steve’s daughter-in-law. Peggy is focused on the financial responsibilities of the business. She has also fostered positive interactive relationships with our employees, our financial and subcontractor partners and vendors who provide the invaluable services to make our projects successful for our customers. In addition, she partners with Mark Bolduc, Office Manager, to ensure effective coordination is achieved to support the entire organization.
Michael Scheidel, Production Manager
Mike has been with Keystone for several years and is a key member of our team. His extensive experience in the construction industry has prepared him with a wealth of knowledge to manage the diverse phases of your project from start to finish. Mike’s organization, management skills and attention to detail will ensure your project meets your expectations with the “Keystone Touch.”
Mark Bolduc, Office Manager
Mark has been associated with Keystone for over 10 years. Mark is Steve’s first cousin and is responsible for effective management of the day-to-day operations of the main office functions including human resources and payroll responsibilities. In addition, Mark plays a critical role in the smooth interface with our Operations Group and Customers. Mark is a “can do” person who will respond to your questions and provide the support you need during the course of your project.
Bill Bryan, Excavation Foreman
Bill is one of the key leaders that supports the excavation team to meet its goals and commitments. With many years of excavation experience and heavy equipment management, he can oversee everything from drainage, trenching, septic installation, poured walls and slabs, backfill and final grading. Bill will be happy to discuss any aspect of excavation work with you. Contact him for courteous, professional assistance.
Miner “Butch” Stevens, Head Framer
Butch has been Keystone’s Lead Framing Carpenter for many years. His talents and vision are easily recognized as the structure takes shape. Butch’s dedication and personality are what make the process run smoothly, on time and on budget. We often hear from our customers that they are sad to see the framers leave the job because they enjoyed the time spent with Butch and his crew so much.
Mike Robertson, Lead Carpenter
Mike has been with Keystone Builders as long as anyone. A superb craftsman, Mike’s specialty is to take up the trim and millwork phase once everyone else has completed their stages of construction. His finished kitchen installations look better than the pictures from a magazine. There is no one who can inspire confidence in attention to your details more than Mike.
Jim Saltis, Finish Trim
One of the newer members of the Keystone team, Jim has considerable talent with cabinet making and trim work. From custom built-ins to elegant fireplace surrounds and mantles, Jim’s work will be a welcomed addition to your project. He can duplicate the look of a magazine photo, or modify that design to be better suited to your own personal style. Often working off site, in Keystone’s own woodworking shop, Jim will bring back those hand-crafted components that really make your room stand out as one of a kind.
